Today’s meditation was skipped once again.

Today’s draw is Queen of Branches (Wands), which is traditionally a representation of a nurturing and receptive alpha energy, personality, or person in the area of one’s drive, passions, determination, willpower, values, and principles. This often translates into themes that have to do with the teaching and nurturing of other’s dreams, aspirations, values, and principles.

The figure here looks away instead of toward the viewer, and for some reason this in some way “turns” the card for me and speaks of not so much how I might be able to teach and nurture those themes mentioned above in others… but who does this for me?

The encouragement here is to reflect on those that support my beliefs, my principles, and my moral compass. Who is it that does not question with objection or derision, but rather with interest and curiosity, fostering your perspectives and encouraging growth rather than trying to discredit or shut you down.

What is your first impression of me?

The Hanged Man and The Eye – You like to see things from different perspectives, and often pause in order to take those in, because you like to see more and understand more then can’t be perceived at first glance.

This is a part of your natural spirit curiosity. You are eager to explore, to learn, and to understand those things that are still a mystery to you. That is something that you share with the racoon spirit.

What would you like to teach me?

Eight of Branches and The Antler – Move it or lose it. This is a sentiment that has repeated a few times recently, and it is a reminder that even if you are taking small steps?  You can still make progress. So take a small step, and then another.  Any steps are better than none. Frozen in the headlights will only lead to loss, so stop standing still.
