Validation From Within

Today’s meditation was skipped.

Sambucus Tarot Original State EditionToday’s draw is the Six of Wands, which is traditionally a representation of public admiration, accolades, success, and self-confidence… especially self confidence built upon how other’s see you and your accomplishments.

The knight rides off into the past with his flag high, but there’s not a single person around to watch him.

The message here today is to remember not to base your pride and self confidence on the opinions of others. You need to be proud of yourself, your accomplishments, and your abilities because -you- value them and appreciate them.  Not because others do.

Don’t look to others for validation.  Look to yourself and at all you have accomplished, and give yourself that validation instead.

Question
: Set {up to} three goals or intentions for yourself for 2022, or let the cards suggest {up to} thee goals for you.

Sambucus Tarot Original State EditionReading Summary: More motivation to win (Five of Swords) balanced with (Justice) more bonding and good times with those that matter (Three of Cups).

Take Away: Finding balance and a modicum of wise moderation between the two isn’t easy.  Last year you leaned a little too hard away from motivation, and for that reason as a result you felt stagnant.

You have a chance to try again this year to find that balance that will allow you to avoid stagnation and keep moving forward and feeling motivated even through the slow summer months.

Daily Self Kindness

I am still playing catch up, and I can’t remember what I might have done as a self kindness for today.

  1. You learn from your mistakes and missteps as well as those steps that push you forward and help you through things. You’ll do fine this year, love, so long as you keep me in the loop and remember your lessons from the past.
