Today’s meditation was skipped.
Today’s draw is the Four of Pentacles, which is traditionally a representation of stability, control, conservation and conservatism, security, saving money or conserving resources, and at times miserly behavior and greed.
In the imagery of today’s card I see greed and control. It is in the set of the character’s features, his balance with the coils below and above him, the raised brow, and the hug of the coin to his red clad chest. This man knows exactly where his priorities lie and woe to any that try to distract or dissuade him.
The card pulled today questions where we are too rigid, too unmoving, or too controlling in life? Where could we benefit from loosening up a bit and going with the flow? It is a reminder that happiness does not reside solely in rigidity and too much of these things can lead to stagnancy and suffocation. That makes this card today an encouragement to ease up and relax our grip on those things we are holding on to too tight.

Philosophical Questions for June 29th
Are we ever morally obliged to take action?
The Moon – Yes, although it can often be uncertain in the moment as to when, as well as what, should be done. Sometimes that uncertainty can cause us to be a bit too cautious.
If so, under what circumstances?
Four of Pentacles – In many situations, it is instilling stability that allows situations to deescalate or be diffused. To create stability for yourself and others, it is often necessary to step in and take action.
Seven of Wands – To stand up for your principles and what you believe in. This is one of the ways that we can provide stability for others, as well as for ourselves.
Six of Wands – But, not to just earn accolades. Some people step in and take action only when they can receive accolades for their actions. Although stepping up and stepping in when help is needed is always a good thing, this particular motivation can be problematic.

Questions for June 28th thru 30thDt
What can the New Moon in Cancer kick-start for me within my magical practice?
Eight of Wands – Motivation that will allow you to lean into your passion projects and work towards getting them done.
What higher truth is Neptune Rx trying to bring to light for me?
Seven of Swords atop Eight of Sword – The things you try to turn a blind eye to and ignore are the things that turn into a problem over time. When these issues are put in the dark and not tended to, they have the ability to grow out of proportion in the shadows, and end up causing troubles and anxiety later on.
What have I learned about my magic, or myself, this month?
The Lovers Rx – You have a weakness for ignoring your own needs and pretending they don’t exist, often blocking yourself from the self care you need most.
How have I grown within my magic throughout June?
Four of Wands – You are re-rooting, and thus becoming more appreciative of what is needed for your grounding and comfort. The importance of having that stability of being well grounded has been something you’ve been reminded of throughout the month of June, giving you a greater appreciation for the value of grounding exercises as a regular practice.
What am I asked to take to heart or embrace as I move on past June, through July and August?
Five of Cups atop Four of Cups Rx – Make sure that you are paying attention to the times your pessimism rears up, and being active in combating it so that it doesn’t get the upper hand in your life.

I had my yogurt and took my vitamins. I also had a bit of a nap and had Jer with me when I went out to get a few things done.
I’m glad you’re being safe, my love. I know you ache for alone time, but not yet
