Today’s meditation was skipped.
Today’s draw is the Page of Pentacles, which is traditionally a representation of a receptive omega energy, personality, or person in the area of one’s health, finances, resources, labors, manifestations, and the physical world.
Here we see a cat that does not seem particularly thrilled with the offering in the owners hand, but does not seem to be as resistant to the idea as a similar theme that is shown in the Ace of this suit, indicating that the cat has learned to accept these pills, but that there’s still a ways to go in getting to the “learning to like it” stage. It also shows progress on the owners part as instead of offering the pills in their palm, they are seeking to make them more palatable and easy to accept.
The message in today’s cards is that not all progress can be fast, even when you want it to be. But, persistence can pay off in the end when combined with a bit of patience.

Questions for June 26th
Coltsfoot, Hyssop atop Vervain – Each of these herbs has to do with the healing of the lungs, and peaceful rest. They speak of a need to be less negative surrounding your meditative practice. Stop discounting the benefits that meditating each day can provide for you, and start doing them instead of skipping.
By…
Bee Balm atop Cowslip – …focusing on being kinder and more accepting of yourself. The reason you skip the things that lift you up and make you healthy is because it is a type of self-punishment you can passively wallow in. By accepting yourself more and being kinder to yourself, you can fight back against this self-destructive urge.

#DiscordTarotholicsJun2022 Challenge Prompt
Topic for June 26th: Do Spread #2
Question: What do I need in order to get the deck shelves done in the next two months?
Reading Summary: The cats in all three of these cards faced towards the past, and yet the bee in the anchor card above charges towards the future. The sentiment of each card’s image below the anchor speaks of things in the past that are holding you back. Reluctance (imagery in the Ace of Pentacles), gluttony/sloth (imagery in the Knight of Cups), and distraction (imagery in the Page of Swords) have all played apart in this struggle.
In contrast, the traditional meaning of each card aligns with the theme of the anchor card above. They speak of turning over a new leaf (Ace of Pentacles), charging forward towards what you want (Knight of Cups), and accepting that it’s going to be a learning process (Page of Swords).
Take Away: These cards indicate that what I need in order to get the job done is to set aside the unhealthy attitudes and practices that I’ve been indulging in recently. Turn around and charge forward towards what I want, instead of lingering in dalliances that are getting nothing done.
