Today’s meditation was skipped.

Today’s draw is the King of Pentacles, which is traditionally a representation of a projective alpha energy, personality, or person in the area of one’s finances, resources, health, home, manifestations, and the physical world.

Today is the day that I meet up with Ms B and the message here is clear. It’s the same as the Emperor that Gideon’s deck threw at him where I was concerned yesterday. I provide a sense of security and stability for all three of the women that I’m traveling with right now.

Today is an easy day. Travel, and then getting settled. Nothing is open on Easter Sunday, and so it gives time to just get comfortable without the pressure of things to do. It allows them to settle, and allows  time for calm and peace after. During this time, they look to me to help pave the way and make things go easier, help them settle and feel secure and stable so that we can start off on the right foot tomorrow.

For today?  The King of Pentacles is me. I take care of the billing, the electronics, and the small inconveniences that help them to settle and be comfortable during this time.

Questions for The Devil – Day 17

What attachments can potentially hold me back from growing?

Ribbons – Having an addictive personality means that you can very easily get tangled up in anything that provides pleasure. Like the monkey that hits the button that stimulates the pleasure center in their brain again and again without restraint, you can easily fall into repetitive behaviors when you find something that gives you the “just right” level of dopamine to keep you coming back again and again for more.

How can I constructively move past blockages or stagnation?

Sex Magick – Lean into authenticity and lack of guile. Both with others, and with yourself. What do you really want? This card encourages you to please yourself, and in doing so those that matter will also be pleased.

What can use a do-over or a new beginning?

Goddess – Self care and treating yourself as sacred is something that you were working on, and then the holiday rush and subsequent new year depression stepped in and pulled you off track. Now that you’re climbing out of depression’s pit, a do-over or restart would be an excellent idea.

What needs to be torn down and parted with in support of my best self?

Oracle – How you view and interact with your spirit guides needs a bit of a rebuild. You are overcomplicating things. There is a better and easier way.

The Hermit Rx – Unhealthy alone time is holding you back. Time that is siphoned away in pursuits that are neither restful nor productive. This is an avoidance behavior that you will need to overcome to move forward.

Advice To Overcome What’s Holding You Back

Three of Pentacles – Lean into help from others in this area. As previous readings you have done indicate, others have the ability to lift you up and help kindle your spark of joy within. Welcome them in and let them help you instead of thinking you have to do everything on your own. The climb out of depression’s pit does not have to be a solitary endeavor.

I asked Ms B to do a bit of a skin check on my back for me.  I’m not usually comfortable removing my shirt when others can see due to the good deal of scarring that I wear on my body, but I let her do a check of my back for me since I haven’t been able to get an appointment with a dermatologist to check me over in the past two years.
