Today’s meditation was skipped.
Today’s draw is the Ace of Cups, which is traditionally a representation of the seed of new beginnings in the area of one’s emotions, relationships, intuition, compassion, and creativity.
The imagery in this card feels like the dragon is breathing life into the interior of the cup. This makes the message about nurturing one’s feelings.
Sometimes one’s habit or instinct can be to bury one’s emotions, but the encouragement here is to allow them to flourish instead of shutting them down and, in doing so, allowing a whole new part of yourself to flourish as well.

Questions for July 13th thru 15th
How can I think more creatively?
Temperance and Transformation – You already are far more creative-minded than most. Don’t push yourself and remember that some of the best things in life develop slowly, so don’t get impatient and flit from “flower to flower”.
How can I discern which ideas are my best ideas?
The Hierophant and Authenticity – Go with your gut and let it guide you. Deep down you will know what knowledge and development in your life is needed to further your journey. Identifying those things require listening closely to your genuine and guileless inner self.
When am I most creative?
The High Priestess and Self-Worth – When I am fully engaged beyond just the physical and mental levels. Leaning in and connecting with creative projects on a deeper, almost intrinsically you level allows for a stronger connection to your creativity.

#DiscordTarotholicsJul2022 Challenge Prompt
Shark Awareness Day – What misunderstood issue in life are you not seeing clearly and needs your focus?
Reading Summary: Treating yourself kindly (The Empress) and making healthy choices is a journey (The Lovers). Support yourself in this journey and understand (Queen of Pentacles) it’s not something that you can do all at once (Seven of Pentacles).
Take Away: Demanding that you just turn around a lifetime’s worth of habits and defense mechanisms, self abuse and tendencies, in the snap of a moment is unrealistic. You need to give yourself some patience to actually do the work and make mistakes. Be understanding about the time it takes and just do your best to make healthy choices.

I am playing some serious catch up and I have no idea what the self-kindness for this day might have been.
