Today’s meditation was skipped.
Today’s draw is the Six of Wands and Knight of Cups. Separately, the Six of Wands speaks of public accolades and people pleasing. Whereas the Knight of Cups speaks of going after what you want in a direct and active manner. Together, combined in this manner, they speak of a theme that has to do with making others happy, and in doing so making yourself happy as well.
Today is going to be a very busy day and you need to make sure you listen carefully to what Ms B wants so that she’s happy with the results.

Mr Lionhart’s #TheJulyTarot Be Here Now Prompt
Questions for July 13th thru 15th
What intuitive feelings am I asked to honor {right now}?
The Devil and The Gambler – Keep an eye on your spending and use your gut to guide you on what to invest in and what to leave behind. Sometimes things look appealing in the beginning, but on further reflection, or reaching into your gut for guidance, you’ll find that they don’t suit you after all. Don’t carry forward on those things that don’t suit. Let them go instead.
What path is my inner compass guiding me to follow?
The Sun and The Rescuer – Make sure you are leaving room for fun, and leaning into positivity and optimism. These things can lift you out of the dark and keep you aloft. When you lose your grip on them, it’s easier for the depression to reach out and grab you.
How or where can following my inner guidance create a sense of zen/purpose?
Seven of Pentacles and The Companion – Remember that you are not alone. You have people that love and support you, and want to be there for you for the long haul, no matter how long it takes.

Philosophical Question: Do acts of kindness always have a motive?
Reading Summary: Yes, but sometimes that motive is nothing more than is in the burden of another (Ten of Wands), helping someone through a hard time (Five of Cups), or reassuring another person that everything isn’t as dark and scary as they think it is in the moment (The Moon).
Take Away: These cards indicate that although all acts of kindness have a motive, sometimes that motive is not self-serving. This rings true to me because kindness is a choice. It’s something we actively choose to do. When we choose to do something there is motive behind that, this where the word motivation comes from after all. But not all kindness is for selfish or self-serving reasons, because sometimes our motivations are simply a desire or inner urge to help.

I am playing some serious catch up and I have no idea what the self-kindness for this day might have been.
