Lingering Near Shore

Today’s meditation was skipped.

Beautiful Korea Tarot - Six of SwordsToday’s draw is the Six of Swords, which is traditionally a representation of moving on, leaving behind difficulty for something better, and letting go.

Unlike the Eight of Cups, which has a similar theme, but with an emotional aspect involved, in the Swords suit, this theme is about strategy and logic. It’s about finding a better path for who you are and what you want, and leaving behind struggle and hardship in the process.

Today’s card is an encouragement to get going on changing the things I need to change in my life. It’s June now, and the projects I had planned for the spring and summer are all still in the beginning stages. It’s time to move into what’s to come instead of lingering near the shore I came from.

Questions for June 2nd and 3rd

Okami Tarot and Flower Message Oracle 1 & 2I will allow myself to…

Wheel of Fortune and Primrose – …more smoothly bend under the ups and downs of life. Resistance is not serving, and thus it would be better to find a way to go with the flow instead.

By…

The Hierophant atop Ace of Wands, Mulan Magnolia – … learning to accept what I cannot change. Fighting against the changes that come with those ups and downs does no one any good.

I have the power to…

The Fool, Plum Blossom atop Wish – …let my inner child have more space to breathe and experience things.

Because…

Seven of Cups and Camellia – …kindness, including self-kindness, is a choice. If I want to instill more fun and carefree play into my life, I can do so… and it will be very good for me if I do.  I just have to make the choice.

Seek Light Tarot Spread with the Beautiful Korea Tarot

What steps could I take toward improving myself, my life or something I struggle with?

Stop ignoring the problem (Eight of Swords Rx), and fight (Five of Swords) to get yourself back on track (The World).

This is about stagnancy, and the fact that I’m dawdling on the edge of depression’s pit instead of continuing to grapple, scramble, and fight my way free of it entirely.

In what area should I be kinder to myself, focus on the good, or treat myself better?

The Sun and Ace of Swords – You’re allowed to have fun, and you need to start looking at play time as a good thing instead of a waste of time.

What personal traits, or strengths, can help me attract the good I want {to manifest} for myself?

Knight of Rods atop Eight of Pentacles – You are skilled and passionate about your work. Use that to your advantage. I love your strengths in this area to lift you up and your passion to provide you with extra drive and motivation.

Daily Self Kindness

I stopped pulling decks today when my back started to hurt instead of pushing myself to keep going.  I can get the rest of them tomorrow.
