Message From My Spirit Guide Prompt for June 9 :
Endurance
Daily Mental Health Prompt
: Seek a positive message to carry with you throughout the day and offer perspective.

Today’s draw is the Two of Swords, which is traditionally a representation of crossroads, difficult decisions, needing more information, seeking inward for answers, weighing one’s options, and sometimes avoidance.

I have an elderly friend in my life that is extremely stubborn. The moment someone looks at her (in her late 70s) and tells her that she can’t do something because of her age or physical condition, etc? She immediately goes into opposition mode and has to prove them wrong. To the point that I’ve personally had to train myself to say “I’d prefer you didn’t do that alone” rather than “you can’t”.

That’s the thing about getting old, yeah? It’s not that the elderly can’t do the things that younger people do, but rather that it costs them a lot more to do them and is far more dangerous due to the risk of brittle bones and easy injuries. Their endurance and resilience has taken a hit, but the determination is still there… especially when their pride or stubbornness is triggered.

The message in today’s Two of Swords and “endurance” prompt is a reminder that just because we can do something doesn’t necessarily mean that you should. It’s important to not let pride and stubbornness push us into doing things that might be better done by others… or at least better served by asking for help.

Message From My Spirit Guide Prompt for June 10 :
Transform
Daily Mental Health Prompt
: Seek a positive message to carry with you throughout the day and offer perspective.

Today’s draw is the King of Wands, which is traditionally a representation of a projective alpha energy, personality, or person in the area of one’s passions, drive, determination, principles, values, and willpower. The King of Wands often indicates themes that have to do with leadership figures or authority figures with the ability to rally others to their causes and draw them in to their own values, principles, and passions.

Careful how you use the power you wield. Your enthusiasm can be a boon or a detriment, and the only way to make sure that the former (boon) doesn’t transform into the later (detriment) is through mindful awareness of the effects of you words and actions have upon the world around you and those in it.

The message in today’s King of Wands and the “transform” prompt is a reminder that our inspiration and passion can transform the world around us. For that reason, it’s important to make sure we are careful where we allow our passions and inspiration to lead us, as well as those that join us.

Wisdom
Daily Mental Health Prompt
: Seek a positive message to carry with you throughout the day and offer perspective.

Today’s draw is the King of Wands, which is traditionally a representation of a projective alpha energy, personality, or person in the area of one’s passions, drive, determination, principles, values, and willpower. The King of Wands often indicates themes that have to do with leadership figures or authority figures with the ability to rally others to their causes and draw them in to their own values, principles, and passions.

Passion isn’t enough. Anyone can be motivated by their passions, and can rally others to their cause with that passion and inspiration. The thing is, though, that passion just isn’t enough to lead well. Lead… yes; but to lead well also requires wisdom.

The message in today’s King of Swords and the “wisdom” prompt is a reminder that leadership is more than just being at the front of the line that everyone else follows behind. It means taking the time to consider how your leadership affects others, and how it can either lift them up or beat them down. Leadership is absolutely about passion and inspiration, but the best leaders mix wisdom into the process to ensure all under their leadership are well and fulfilled along the way.
