Today’s meditation was skipped.
Today’s draw is the Ace of Pentacles, which is traditionally a representation of the seed of new beginnings and new opportunities in the areas of one’s finances, resources, health, labors, manifestations, and the physical world.
Pirates are a greedy lot, and here in this card we see one contemplating a gold piece as he considers the opportunities it might hold for him to garner more.
Today’s message is a reminder about opportunities, and seizing those that come your way rather than letting them pass you by, especially when those opportunities have the potential to garner you more of what you want most in your life.

Mr Lionhart’s #TheJulyTarot Be Here Now Prompt
Questions for July 1st thru 3rd
What cosmic consciousness am I guided to align myself with?
Seven of Pentacles and Until All Are Free None Are Free – Social reform is never sudden. It takes time, and although we can spur on growth spurts, it usually takes not years, but actual generations, to see noticeable change. Foster patience in others, and encourage it within yourself as well. All things meant to grow will do so with passionate people there to facilitate the process.
What {part of my life} needs a break or restart {right now}?
Two of Wands and King of Pentacles, Life Is Beautiful Life Is Meaningful – Entertaining the depression’s presence flirts with the edges of your self-destructive tendencies. Better to find and develop a direction forward that can create greater stability in your life and make it easier for you to appreciate life as a whole, than to continue dawdling in complacency.
How am I asked to surrender myself to the here and now?
Ace of Swords and The Hot Tubs Too Hot – Stop trying to push yourself into trying new projects and new things right now. You already have enough on your plate. Too much will add pressure you don’t need.

#DiscordTarotholicsJul2022 Challenge Prompt
International Joke Day – Draw 3 cards and use them to tell us a funny (story/joke/etc).
Dear reader, if you find this letter it means that I have died at sea. But, I have a story to tell about making assumptions… And about love and passion. A story that I hope will live on in you.
I was born on a plantation where the owner worked us all too hard, and expected to much. He would work us until our fingers bled, and our backs were fair to breaking. (Two of Pentacles Rx)
Pushed to the end of my rope, one day I took the opportunity to run away. In the dark of the night I spirited away into the trees at the edge of the plantation and made my way through the forest to the docks. There, I slipped aboard a ship at port that was preparing to leave and stowed myself away among the cargo.
It wasn’t long after the ship set sail that I was discovered and strung up for my crime. Hanging from the ship’s lowest yard and firmly tied, I thought this was surely the end of everything. (The Hanged Man)
And when the captain came out to have a look at his stowaway, and it was my plantation owner!! My surprise was complete, but it was nothing compared to his delight! Not only had he caught his runaway slave, but what I was to learn was also his heart’s desire! Me!
Now we sail the seven seas together, and I’ve discovered he’s not so bad! Well, until he gets in his cups and starts trying to ride the masthead anyway. That poor dolphin’s blowhole is never to be the same. (Knight of Cups)
May this teach you to never look upon those around you harshly…. at least not ’til you know their true nature.
Signed,
Seaman Leeway, The Captain’s Boy

I took a nap today, and it was a good one for once. The heat makes me more tired and I seem to nap better because of it, even if I never really feel like I’m -not- tired even after my naps.
OMG I love this deck. And your story is wonderful. *Still laughing at the blowhole comment*. My little fish. All mine
Tho I really need to get you caught up in the rigging more often.
I love you beautiful. I miss you so much
