Today’s meditation was skipped.

Today’s draw is the Queen of Roses (Pentacles) combined with the affirmation “Everything will work out, you’ll see!”

The posture of the queen in this card reminds me of the phrase “Fake it ’til you make it.”  Her beautiful golden replacement limb on display, she is powerful. But, does she always feel that way?  Probably not.

These cards are a reminder that even when you don’t feel powerful? If you fake it… you’ll make it. Feelings are temporary, but a good foundation helps you stand strong even when you need to sit down.  Stay strong and you will make it through.

Philosophical Question: Does love feel different to different people or is it a universal emotion?

Queen of Feathers (Swords) Rx and Chocolate Topping – Don’t be a know it all. In life, you are only able to experience things through your own lens of perception. No matter how long you’ve been around, how much experience you’ve accumulated, or how much you observe others, you are still experiencing all of this through that personal lens. Everyone else has their own lens as well, and it’s not the same as yours.

So, yes, love feels different to different people. This is a part of what makes some people such a great match, and others mix like oil and water.

I took a nap after I got home from the salon today.  Although the dream sucked? I felt better on the whole for having done so.
