Today’s meditation was unguided and just under ten minutes long. It was simply a relaxing meditation with the addition of breathing exercises.
Prior to my meditation, I came across the graphic that I posted on the right. I like the quote and the correlation between it and the sea/tides. Just as the sands on the beach are constantly shifting, so are our lives.
Stumbling across this graphic today feels like a reminder that we have to let go of what we have in order to gain something new.
Today’s draw is the Knight of Bears (Pentacles), which is traditionally a representation of a projective and active beta energy in the area of one’s finances, resources, health, home, labors, manifestations, and the physical world.
The Knight is a card of action, but in the Pentacles suit it is characterized by slow and measured movement. Today’s card is a reminder that I’m supposed to be taking my time. It doesn’t have to be done all at once, and a little progress every day is fine in this project that I’m working on.
The Knight of Pentacles says that as long as you keep your eye on the prize, it doesn’t matter what speed you go because you’ll get there eventually.

Flowers – What is flourishing in your life right now
Your roots are reforming and stability is slowly beginning to flourish once again. There was a lot of corrosion in this area over the spring and early summer as you struggled with the depression, but now that you can breathe more freely you’re beginning to find your balance and stability once more.
Sun – Where you’re shining your brightest this summer
You’re doing spectacularly well at cleansing yourself if the depression that plagued you through the first half of the year. With the darkness washed away, you are now able to rise into the light and enjoy the fresh air. Use this feeling of refreshment to get out and connect with nature.
Stars – What needs released for me to shine even brighter
Let go of frustration and arrogance. It stands in the way of connecting more closely with others. It is a dragon that, if not released, will eventually bite you on the ass… so let it go.
(Bumble) Bees – Where to focus your energy to get things done
Work on going with the flow and allow these things you want to get done to blend into your life, instead of taking it over and disrupting everything else you have going on.
Bonfires – Embers to stir up for a brighter future
Lean into those things that spark your sense of enthusiasm. When you feed the fire, it burns brighter. Those things that make this flame burn brighter are curiosity, enthusiasm, and the drive to explore.

Questions for July 26th thru 29th
Page of Wands – Take time to smell the roses while in pursuit of your dreams. You never know what you can discover by changing your pace and looking around instead of rushing forward headlong.
Which of the four Knights has a message for me at this time?
Knight of Cups – Everything can catch fire if you light a match to it, but you need to examine if that’s what you really want before you actually do the act. Sometimes it’s better to leave things well enough alone.
Which of the four Queens has a message for me at this time?
Queen of Wands – What are you birthing into your life right now? Is it the energy you want? Or do you want something more balanced instead that can be nurturing as well as motivational? These are questions you need to ask yourself right now.
Which of the four Kings has a message for me at this time?
King of Pentacles – Slow down and enjoy the present, rest when you need to, and make sure that you’re taking care of yourself as well as others. Yes, the project is important, but so are a lot of other things. So don’t let yourself drop certain responsibilities in order to accomplish others. Instead, find a way to balance both by easing up on the one that you’re pushing hardest at, so that you can put some attention into the others.

I am playing some serious catch up and I have no idea what the self-kindness for this day might have been.
