Today’s meditation was fourteen minutes long and was a quiet, self guided meditation while I did my piriformis stretching. I find it interesting how when I haven’t meditated in a while, the process seems to be far easier to sink into than when I’ve been doing it regularly.  Today’s meditation was soothing, quiet, and peaceful.  I didn’t have any trouble staying in it at all.

The quote on the right is just something I ran across that I liked. It doesn’t have any relevance on my meditation today, although it does echo some of the sentiments of yesterday’s card of the day.

Today’s draw is the Ace of Eyes (Swords), which is traditionally a representation of the seed of new beginnings in the area of one’s thoughts, ideas, logic, intellect, education, ambitions, and creativity.

Today was the first day of organizing decks on shelves, which starts with playing cards. It involves mapping out where different decks will go, as well as alphabetizing and rearranging to account for space.

The Ace a of Swords is a reminder concerning this process to keep an eye forward on the future and growth that might happen within my collection, and plan accordingly. Make allowances for that growth now rather than having to do a massive reorganization later.

Reading Summary: Set your own pace (The Ghost Car) on your project as you move forward (Three of Lights) so that you have time to enjoy the process instead of being beleaguered by it (Ten of Bottles).

Take Away: You don’t have to be miserable to make progress. There is no race.

You have a whole two months and a bit to get things in order, so take a breath and don’t let the magnitude of the project still to go get to you. It’ll all get done in time.  There’s no need to rush or stress over it all right now.
