Still Waters

Gray days
filled with shades
of blue and green
muted by heavy sky
are like
perfect moments
caught in time
suspended
in stillness
as we sit
on damp rocks
at the water’s edge

and breathe deep

    Yuck I feel horrible today
    Throat is sore and head is achy and foggy. I’m tired and can’t really taste much of anything.
