Today’s meditation was skipped, although I have every intention on using this time away from home to get back on track in this area.
Today’s draw is the Star card, which is traditionally a representation of Hope, spiritual guidance, trust, gentle optimism, and the connections between the physical world, internal perceptions, and the spiritual realm.
The stars bear witness to our pain, our heartache, our joy, and out celebrations. They have inspired us since the beginning of our time on earth to look outside of our own lives and beyond ourselves.
Combined with the affirmation card for today, the message I see here is that when things are dark and painful in life, it’s important to look for the things we can do to make things better. Don’t just wallow, but create something beautiful, just as flowers grow from manure.

Questions for November 20th
What is currently energizing me?
Tanzanite and King of Pentacles
Supporting others isn’t always about being a shoulder to cry on, sometimes it’s about making sure all the practical shit gets done and everything that need to be sustained and kept on track is in order to ensure there are no hiccups while those needing the support are distracted.
Why does this make me feel energized?
Citrine, Nine of Wands atop Seven of Wands
You take joy in being able to protect those that you care about, and this type of support protects them by creating barriers between their grief and those that might take advantage or drag them down further.

How can I tell when my boundaries are being pushed?
The Magician – Tap into the tools you have at hand. Pay attention and stand tall instead of just “floating along”.

Mother of Pentacles atop Five of Swords – Pay attention to their reactions. Tune in and watch for a rise in aggression.
How can I be more respectful of others’ boundaries?
Ten of Swords atop Two of Pentacles – Accept that everyone has to go through painful transitions, and it’s important to give them the right balance between helpfulness and space to allow them those experiences.
