Spring Colors

Shadows casting
dreamy images
over swathes of green
inviting the eye
to look upward
as the sky shifts
from shades of blue
to swirling white
in a  Beltane dance
while trees stretch
for each kiss
of sunlight
that breaks through
to paint the world
in color
