PreDawn Encounter
Early morning
no one there
breath panting
in the cold air
a flicker of red
among the gray
a little tugboat
coming my way
it causes ripples
upon water’s surface
as it passes by
to it’s own purpose
and away I go
thru morning dew
Twisting the Leaf 
Did you go out for a hike in the cold this morning, my love?
