Life Among the Cracks
Tiny little leaves
that climb
between the rocks
in vibrant splashes
of green and purple
preening
among concrete’s
sandy cracks.
If it weren’t so cold
I could sit
and admire them
for hours

Even if the hardest, worst situation there is always a little bit of hope that slips thru. Hold onto that growth and push for the light.
