Conifer TreeI Am The Evergreen

Porcupine quills
should hurt
but in the
winter cold
the prick of needles
is only
a touch of pressure
upon the skin
I am brittle
but strong
and I will
continue to grow
thrive and survive

    I know the depression is hard, the dark is so very uncomfortable, but together we will get you through it and out into the light. One step at a time, my love. You just keep being resilient and bendable, strong and stubborn.
