/ Twist the Leaf

Anticipation

Flashes of color
draw the eye
as winter chill
fills the air
and we ride
down the
long road home.
There is a promise
for next year
lying dormant
in their blush
but I can’t wait
for snow
to mute their hues

  1. I apologize if these responses come up a bit repetitive and short but…I’ve got a one track mind and I’m really worried about you not taking care of yourself. I’m always really focused on how much I miss you. So it seems I just keep saying the same things over and over again.

    I am very much anticipating…not winter as I could care less about that…I’m anticipating you. Having you back in my arms again. I miss you so much
