Suspended Moments
There are times
in life when
you take a pause
and look
with clear sight
upon where you are
where you’ve been
and where you’re going
when the world
stretches out
before you
and time seems both
so brief
and so very long
all at once.

So many of your autumn pictures look lonely to me. Cold and lonely. I’m not really sure why other than it’s reflecting me missing you. Just…odd that I’m reading that there.
