/ Twist the Leaf

Eager

Pops of pink
and tender greens
roiling skies
and sunshine beams
spring has come
to warm the air
as softened earth
stirs with life
no longer willing
to wait
patient and still
but instead eager
to spill forth
exuberant abundance
