/ Twist the Leaf

Snow Covered PineI Climb

Fluffly tufts
of soft white
cling precariously
to delicate spines
like my fingernails
digging deep
into the walls
upon which I climb
searching
for the light
but only finding
a small glimmer
from time to time
to dazzle the eye
