Obsessed… Yes

I want to swim
to numb the toes
and dive right in
where frigid cold
slides over skin
in frigid embrace
that nips and bites
while I float
under blue skies
and currents turn
me in its grasp
as crisp fresh air
fills lungs
with every gasp
