A Quiet Moment

Hipbone to deck rail
as I lean with tea
in hand
the steam swirling
the scent
of fragrant herbs
to blend with
fresh air
and tease the senses
as I watch
the sun sink
then you come
to press close behind
and my soul
is soothed
