Saying Goodbye

Temperatures cool
and blossoms fade
as only the hardy
remain
splashes of color
shift
from the burst
of floral color
to the autumn flames
of turning leaves
but here and there
you can still find
a bit of vibrant hues
like an echo
of the summer
gone
