Mabon Spread – Part 2 of 2
Amber: Emotion / Balance – Where do I need to work on my emotions to create more balance in my life?
Grieving – Work on letting go instead of trying to hold on to those things that are long passed. You can’t move in to embracing something new and good until you let go of what is dead and gone.
Cedar: Fortitude / Protection – How can I use my present day fortitude to strengthen my future protection?
Mead and Wine – You have spent a long time building up you ability to turn your focus from negativity and pessimism to positivity and optimism. This skill is needed to help protect yourself from the struggles yet to come that you will go through and keep yourself afloat and out of depression’s grasp.
Marigold: Health / Happiness – Where should I focus on my health in order to develop a happier outlook?
Molasses – Patience and intention are needed. You can’t force things or rush, and pushing yourself will only make things worse. Instead, make sure that you are going slow and keeping your eye on the prize.
Lapis Lazuli: Self Awareness / Truth – What hidden truths can self-awareness bring to light in my life?
Scarecrow – Your guides are with you even when you feel as if you are all alone. You have support at your fingertips no matter what you are doing or how much you are struggling.
Walnut: Discernment / Friendship – How can I be more discerning in picking positive friendships?
Queen of the Dead – Look for those in your life that stir the fire within you and spark your inspiration, rather than those that create a sense of comfortable mellow energy in your life. You need that spark, and those mellow people just try to get you to embrace stagnancy.
Sapphire: Wisdom / Thought – How can I best discern between logical thought and true wisdom?
Elderberries – True wisdom often speaks through the voice of your intuition, whereas logical thought comes from the mind.
Yarrow: Trauma / Healing – How can I move from a place of trauma into a place of healing?
Apple of My Eye – Look deeper. Avoid taking things (and people) at face value. It’s when you dig for the truth that you are able to truly begin to process and heal.
