The Unfurling
Knots loosen
as pressure eases
once outbursts
of vivid emotion
spill forth
into the light
and are
washed clean
by the kiss
of your love
as you finally see
what has
been hidden
and curled tight
into a knotted bud

Twisting the Leaf 
I don’t know why breaking loose all that hidden angst and overwhelm makes it feel better, but it does. Just knowing that we connected on that level again. Just having you spill it all for me and seeing you all naked and exposed…it does cleanse away that huge wall between us. And there has been a wall. All this time and all of our avoidance of the unpretty created a wall between us and I felt very much on the outside. Thank you for letting me in baby. Thank you for letting me see you. Letting me find you again
