The Damage

Fractured moments
and land mines
and I feel
like a failure
as I stand
so close to bliss
and yet
it is so far away
as broken moments
hurt feelings
and self judgements
keep my feet rooted
so that
I cannot reach
the bliss
I so desperately long for
