Tea and Biscuits

The wind
pushes flakes
to fly by
as if we sit
in a moving car
instead of
at the kitchen nook
drinking tea
while we watch
the world
turn white
inch by inch
and imagine
we can hear
the soft patter
of snowflakes
as they land
