Today’s meditation was skipped.
Today’s draw is the Seven of Wands, which is traditionally a representation of standing up for one’s values and principles against opposition, standing up for what you believe in, conflict, and perseverance.
The imagery in this card is a reminder that even those we love are sometimes going to cross boundaries we have in place concerning what we value and where our principles lie. The smile on the woman’s face is gentle, though, and indicates that even during these times… we still love them.
It’s not possible to agree with everyone we love all the time. It’s natural to have differences of opinions, and boundaries sometimes get trampled during these times.
Today’s card is a reminder that reminding these loved ones of where your boundaries lie doesn’t have to turn ugly. Sometimes a gentle reminder is all that is needed to set things back to rights and re-establish those limits.

#DiscordTarotholicsFeb2022 Challenge Prompt
Philosophical Question: Where does your self-worth come from?
Reading Summary: These cards indicate that your self-worth comes through making the hard choices (Two of Swords) needed to go in the direction of my dreams and passions (Two of Wands), even when it might cost me dearly to get there (Nine of Wands).
Take Away: It is through making these choices and weathering the storm that you learn what is important to you and where your strengths lie. This knowledge builds self-confidence and self-worth, for with each step along the path of self-discovery and self-knowledge, your feed become steadier on your life’s path and your stride more sure on where you want to go and who you want to be.

I had a bit of a lazy day today. I really should have worked on orders so that tomorrow’s workload would be a bit less taxing, but I just… needed some time today to dawdle and relax.
