Today’s meditation was ten minutes long, and was just quiet time complete with breathing exercises and my piriformis stretching. I also did a couple of forearm stretches as they’ve been feeling a bit tight.
Today’s draw is the Six of Swords, which is traditionally a representation of leaving behind conflict and difficult times for something better, abandoning turbulence and leaving one’s troubles behind, transitions, and letting go of old baggage.
Yesterday… was a rough day. Mood wise, emotion wise… in so very many of the different ways that make a day a rough one. Things took longer than usual to get done, people moved at a snails pace, even the credit card processors seemed to be working at a crawl. If there was something I could drop? I dropped it. If there was a foot I could put in my mouth? I ate it.
All around… just a rough day. Today’s cards are a reminder to set it aside. Let go of the hurt feelings, the painful moments, the frustrations and the struggles and the impatience. None of it needs to be carried forward… just let it go.

Mr Lionharts’ #TheFebruaryTarot Kindred Spirits Challenge Prompt
Questions for February 5th
What three areas in my life are ready for a transformation?
Judgement – Your view of where you’re going and who you want to be. As you grow and evolve over time, so too does your plan need to evolve.
Ten of Cups – How you view happiness and contentment. As you grow and change over time, these views of what happiness and contentment are for you and how you can best experience them also change.
Eight of Cups – How you deal with emotional dissatisfaction. You recently fell back on the urge to walk away. You caught yourself, but it may be time to address this inclination.
What is required {of me} for each transformation?
Judgement → Two of Cups – Remember that you are never ‘in this’ alone. You need others, even if your independent streak makes that difficult to admit at times. As you have allowed people more space and time in your life, you need to expand and adjust your plans to include them, for your relationship with these people become a part of who you are.
Ten of Cups → King of Wands – A willingness to make it happen. To go after that happiness instead of considering it beneath you or not worth your time. Make it a passion and then take the reigns and make it a part of your life. Make it important.
Eight of Cups → Queen of Swords – Own who you are, and be “the son of a bitch” that lurks inside of you when it’s needed. Know your worth and trust that others do as well, and set those straight that don’t instead of running to hide under a rock.

I took a nap. I mean, I don’t really feel like I got much of anything done today. I’m not even sure where the majority of the day went. But I -did- take a nap when I was feeling extra tired.
