Merriment and Camaraderie

Today’s meditation was skipped.

Cattitude Tarot - Three of CupsToday’s draw is the Three of Cups, which is traditionally a representation of friendships, merriment, celebration, and camaraderie.

Okay, so I had my Thanksgiving a few days early, and I have no plans of celebrating tonight… but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate that this card popped up on Thanksgiving Day.  In fact?  I love that.

I love the idea that people are gathering, loved ones spending time together with good food in warm homes and enjoying each others company.

Drinks or no drinks, there’s something special about this idea and it lightens my heart to know that even if not every household is celebrating in this way?  Many are… and having a wonderful time filled with gratitude and appreciation for each other and the time they are spending together.

Today is an orders day, and I’ve been working hard at getting orders done after having spent Tuesday night away from home and Wednesday on the road. That said… I’ve been eating on a timer so that I don’t forget.

Focus On Now – Create – Only you can create happiness into your life. Don’t look to others for this, but seek out those things that make you happy. Instead, look to yourself and what brings you joy, then do yourself the kindness of carving out time for these things.

Release the Past – Connections – Learn to lean into the things that make you feel content and happy, including those people from your past that bring you joy… and release the rest.  It’s through positive connections that you create positive results in your life.

Embrace the Unknown – Support – Don’t take for granted that people that love you and seek to support you in all of your endeavors. Allow yourself to be open to their support as you step into the unknown, for they are there to help you along your path… even when it’s dark and you can’t see the way.
