🌕 Full Moon in Sagittarius – June 2022

Today is the full moon, and like all new moons and full moons, I did a spread aligned to the moon’s current themes as a part of my recognition of the moon’s cycle and influences upon us. Today’s spread is about the medicine within, and brought to you by Ethony‘s Tarot by the Moon series.

Full Moon in Sagittarius Tarot Reading with the Mr Otter Tarot

What impulses need taming?

Nine of Wands – Take a moment to realize when you’re being combative. The reason might be because you’re trying to protect something that is important to you, but make sure you’re not going too far.

Where can I best direct my energy?

King of Cups – Don’t allow your emotions to run away with you. Stability is needed, even when it’s matters of intuition and the heart. Remember that sometimes you may need to tap into others that are more adept with their emotions (such as Gideon) to help you find that balance and stability.

How can I best redirect my aggression?

The Fool – Have some fun with it and lighten the mood. Everything doesn’t have to be serious all the time, and lightening the mood when you’re feeling aggressive can help turn that energy into something fun and enjoyable instead. It’s okay to be silly sometimes.

How can I add a little spice to my life?

Seven of Cups – You actually have to make the choice to loosen up. Adding a little spice to your life isn’t something that just happens, but is a goal to strive for just like any other. Be sure to exam if that’s really what you want before you take the leap, though.

What personal spiritual belief needs re-examining?

Ace of Wands – Not everything needs to be chased after in order to be accomplished. And not every new idea or inspiration needs exploration. It’s okay to let one go every once in a while.

Full Moon advice from the Minoan Goddess Amalthea.

Six of Cups – Cherish those important souls in your life and the history you share.

Time stretches long
like a rubber band
pulled taut
and the inch it was
becomes
a foot… or more
as seconds stretch
into minutes
and then hours
as time becomes
an expanse
never ending

and then suddenly
snaps
back into place
without warning

Full Moon in Sagittarius Lenormand Reading

Full Moon in Sagittarius Lenormand Reading with the Hilda Lenormand

How are you being asked to expand your horizons?

Coffin and Ship – Move away from unhealthy behaviors as you recover from being sick. This illness can be seen as a breaking point, a place where you can break away from bad behaviors and move forward fresh.

What will help you step out of your comfort zone?

Scythe and Clouds – Cut down your uncertainty at the knees. Your inner narrative that whispers doubts and concerns in your ear needs to be silenced, and only decisive action will make that happen.

In what way are you being called to shift your mindset?

Tree and Mountain – Good health (physical or mental) is not a lost cause, merely an obstacle strewn path. Keep working toward a healthier you, even when it feels like the obstacles in your way are insurmountable.

What clarity and wisdom are available to you now?

House and Dog – Take comfort in those you trust most.  Lean on them and spend time with them.  You are not an island. You need them… and they need you too.

Use Your Hands

Today’s meditation was skipped.

Wandering Traveler Tarot - Ace of PentaclesToday’s draw is the Ace of Pentacles, which is traditionally a representation of the seed of new beginnings in the area of one’s finances, resources, health, home, manifestations, and the physical world. This often translates into themes that have to do with new opportunities in finance or work, renewed health, or new projects in which one is working with their hands.

New leaves don’t turn over themselves. They take work and encouragement and at least a touch of motivation to get things going.  Today’s message is about those new leaves that I have sitting in the wings nagging at me from the corner of my mind.  It’s a reminder that nothing is done without work… and seizing the opportunity to get things done requires actually doing some seizing… usually with your hands.

Questions for June 13th thru 15th

Decuma Tarot and Perspective Glass OracleWhat is this Super Full Moon guiding me to release?

It’s time to release the expectation that you have to jump on every single little idea that comes to you (Ace of Wands). Yes, they can all be brilliant, but you don’t have time to explore them all.

Slow down, and pick and choose depending on where you want to go and the goals you want to achieve (Guided Energy Can Move Mountains).

What am I asked to celebrate under this Super Full Moon?

You have the free will and independence to make any decisions you wish about your life and direct it in any direction you would like to go (Eight of Cups). You also have the opportunity to look at the actions you wish to take and see the trajectory of where they will lead you (Are you really going to drive away to a better life?)

Taking a moment to look at where you’re going and make a good decisions concerning that is an opportunity to celebrate, don’t let it overwhelm you.

In what area am I guided to see things in a new light?

You need to examine what security really means to you (Four of Pentacles).

Until you can define this in a way that makes sense and is achievable, you’re just chasing clouds hanging just out of your reach (See the positive side of things. That’s how you achieve balance.)

: Self-care for the Full Moon…

Wandering Traveler TarotReading Summary: Seize control of your inner narrative (King of Swords) and stop worrying about the crap (whether real or imagined) that you can’t control (Nine of Swords Rx). Focus instead on the things that you need to see more clearly and have control over (Eight of Swords).

Note that there is an urgency in the color scheme that flows from left to intensify on the right, indicating that the issues on the left are nothing to fuss about… the issues on the right, on the other hand, need your attention immediately.

Take Away: Don’t allow things that are out of your control to create critical failure to launch (or thrive) in other areas.

Daily Self Kindness

I took some breaks today even though it was orders day.  I’ve been working on some mini-meditation moments where I close my eyes and take a moment to breathe now and then throughout the day.

so hard
to see the lighter
side of life
and be positive

and yet

I find that the

The Real Rosie the Riveters of WWII TarotToday’s draw is the Nine of Pentacles, which is traditionally a representation of solitary satisfaction, a job well done, self-sufficiency, abundance, and success at work or in finance.

Here in this card’s imagery I see themes to do with self-sufficiency and pride in a job well done. There’s focus and control in the woman’s hands and gaze as she works, supporting a clear theme in these areas that carries over into my own life and the pride I take in my own work.

Yes. Hiccups happen.  I had a few of them this weekend, in fact.  All of which were detrimental to my business and out of my control.  And yet, today’s card is a reminder that even when hurdles and obstacles stand in your way, you need to make sure to acknowledge and appreciate how far you’ve come and what you’ve learned along the way. Your successes and accomplishments matter and shouldn’t be disregarded just because life decides cast some storm clouds your way.

Question: Let’s pare down my focus to what really needs my attention at this time.

Audubon & Animal Bones Postcard Set and Abstract Art TarotStop worrying about all the piddly ass little things (too many scattered butterflies), and instead focus on who you want to become (Judgement / Social Justice and how the flames in this card correspond to the central one of butterflies through color in the anchor card). It’s time to seize control and get yourself back on track in this area (Emperor).

In the echo of shape and theme between the balloons in the Queen of Brushes and the anchor card there is indication that this doesn’t have to be a heavy process. There’s nothing studious or particularly hard about it, you just need to welcome back in that nonconformity within your soul (burning flag and spray painted anarchy sign), and let it flourish and stretch its wings (back to the copious amounts of butterflies in the anchor card).

Questions for June 12th

The Real Rosie the Riveters of WWII TarotI am grateful for…

The Magician and The Tower – …my ability to take the chaotically destructive moments in my life and turn them into learning experiences that then benefit me in some way in the future.

This ability to seek out and gather the boon from negative experiences helps me turn the negative experiences in my life around into something positive. It doesn’t destroy the negative, but gives a different aspect and a way to appreciate that the experience was necessary for me to become who I am and be where I am in life.

And this helps…

King of Pentacles and Nine of Cups – … me to not just stay on top of my responsibilities, but also assist others along the way, all while remaining contented and happy with my lot in life in general.

Daily Self Kindness

Ugh.  Well, I tried to advocate for myself with Etsy about something they did in my account while I was locked out.  It didn’t go to well, but at least I tried.  I think my self kindness, though, was in finally just letting it go after the customer service chat was over instead of continuing to stew over it.
