Today’s meditation was skipped.
Today’s draw is the Four of Pentacles, which is traditionally a representation of stability and security in the areas of finance, resources, hearth and home, health, and manifestations. It’s about conservation of resources and creating a sense of security by having what one needs.
The imagery in this card feels like a reminder that even in areas of stability and security, we need a little bit of balance. Too much… and we end up weighed down and stagnating… too little and there’s no stability at all.
The card today is a reminder that you need motion as well as stability… it’s not an either-or situation. Rather, it’s important to have a balance of stillness and movement. Don’t get so focused on stability that you forget and end up weighed down.

@the_mystic_star February Tarot Challenge Prompt
Question for February 12th : How can I heal myself so that I am able to increase the love I have for myself?
Little Red-Cap – Trust is the key to any good relationship. It’s hard to find other people to trust, but you should be able to trust yourself without question. Remember that your inner child was betrayed a great deal. You have the opportunity and ability to restore their trust in you, but you need to stand up to those negative inner narratives in order to show them that you intend to protect them from those harsher parts of yourself earned from your past.
The Frog Prince – Integrity is what is used to create trust. That includes the trust between your adult self and your inner child mentioned above. Be honest with yourself, and honest with your inner child. Change is not easy, but it’s important to make it clear that you’re trying.
How King Midas Lost His Ears – Intention is the glue that makes the changes you want to make stick within your life. Intention and willpower make those things you want to change become a part of the future instead of just the whims of the moment.
