have sharp thorns
to protect them
but how
do we learn
to ease up
on the thorns
and let in
the sunlight
of love and hope?

  1. Sometimes you have to prick your fingers a few times on the thorns to get to the fragile beauty beneath….but everything worth having is worth a little blood sweat and tears, hm?
