Deserving of Happiness Lenormand Reading

Deserving of Happiness Lenormand Reading - Slavic Folklore Lenormand

What makes me think that I don’t deserve happiness?

The Letter and The Rodent – Corrosive messages from family that I’ve received throughout my youth having stuck with me all this time.

Why don’t I trust joyful moments in my life?

The Tower and The Ring – I feel an obligation to always watch out and protect. That means being aware of the ways in which you can be fucked over and watching for them. It is my responsibility to do this, and it means that joyful moment are often looked at with suspicion instead of taken at face value.

How can I understand that I deserve happiness?

The Bear and The Moon – Treat yourself as you would others. Be kind.

How can I forgive myself for believing that I don’t deserve happiness?

The Wolf and the Man – Another reminder to treat yourself kindly. Choose to be your own best friend.

Some reasons why I’m deserving of happiness.

The Child and The Fox – That child that resides inside you needs care, no matter how difficult they may be to reach.

Moving Forward / Words of Encouragement

The Key and The Grave – You can let go of these unhealthy habits, move on from them, and find a better way. Make the voice to break free.

Month End Tarot Reading - Somnia Tarot and Jeremy Miranda Oracle Cards

Here and Now I Exist – Who you are now, in your entirety.

The Moon atop Four of Coins – Waffling between stability and uncertainty. Feeling trapped.

The Slough – What is to be left in the past as you move forward.

The Heirophant – Right now you need to focus on you. You can’t help or guide others when you are depleted. It’s okay to close the door sometimes.

What Lies Ahead – An ideal state or ideal self you are seeking at this time.

Ace of Wands atop The Tower – Helping Ms B find new purpose after her loss. Helping her get organized and settled so that she can start off on the right foot.

Limitations – Negative influences, opposition, or ill will.

Ace of Cups atop Three of Coins – Take care in who is allowed to help. Ensure that your guard is kept up concerning those coming out of the woodwork at this time to offer their assistance in an effort to insert themselves and establish a connection.

The Boon – Positive influences, higher guidance, or divine intervention.

Page of Swords – Stay hopeful as you keep your eye on what lies ahead and learn to navigate your way through this experience.

The Wound – An unpleasant past experience or event that is ripe for some support and healing.

The Empress atop Six of Coins – You know just how painful backstabbing can be. You have experienced it before in the guise of nurturing kindness from others that in an instant turned to something painful and ugly.

Nostalgia – A positive past experience or event to acknowledge, reflect upon, and enjoy.

The Chariot – The little black woo woo. (Yes, this is code for an unforgettable memory I’m not going to share publicly.)

A Warning – Something coming that can be prevented or overcome.

King of Cups – Make sure you mend things with Gideon. He’s feeling alone and adrift, and that can quickly turn into resentment.

Empowerment – A future opportunity to work toward.

Justice – Balancing the scales will require looking beneath the surface and digging deep. Be thorough.

Side Note:  Skipping the second half of this reading, as there’s just not time to go through it all. I’ll return to the full reading next month.

Self Care Saturday (On a Sunday)

These Saturday readings are (not usually) bearing in on any one thing or event in my life, as the question used is asking for a more general outlook. This is a self care exercise, and is not meant as a predictive reading… although that, too, happens on occasion.

The question is… What do I need to focus for self-care through the week ahead?

Ostara Tarot, Crystal Forests Oracle, Power Animals Oracle

Side Note – There is a noticeable color flow in these cards that runs from hot and fiery on the left to cool and calm on the right. This speaks of its own progression and transition as the week progresses.

Earth – The Magician and Red Jasper / Empowerment – You’ve got this. You have everything you need (including time) to get done all that needs accomplished this week with your business and manifestations. Touch that fire within and let it burn away any lingering sluggishness.

AirStrength and Blue Apatite / Trust – You are loved and trusted, and have the ability to use that trust to help those around you make good choices. Don’t forget that this power is a precious gift.

WaterTen of Wands and Wulfenite / Amplification – You are emotionally overwhelmed. The death last week has amplified emotional struggles you’ve been having and you are struggling to carry them instead of shutting down.

FireThe Sun and Blue Goldstone / Authenticity – You can use your emotions to sink deeper into your work, to take joy in the process and put yourself more intrinsically into the pieces you make.  Funnel some of that part of who you are and how you feel into the pieces and turn those emotions into something beautiful.

WaningFox – Emotions are going to be far more difficult to hide this week. You are trying to wait until you are home and caught up on orders, but cracks in your armor are starting to show.

WaxingSalmon – Let the emotions out and deal with them.

Take Away – Most of this weekend’s reading is about making sure I’m processing my emotions or doing something with them in some way instead of trying to either close them away or letting them stagnate and fester.

Spiritual Check-Up Tarot Reading

Spiritual Check-Up Tarot Reading - The Hush Tarot

What is my social well-being like right now?

Seven of Cups Rx – I want to step away instead of dealing with it or making choices. I’m not particularly social to begin with, which is not helping this reaction as all I want to do is retreat.

What is my emotional well-being like right now?

Five of Pentacles – Scarcity and loss. This answer is not surprising considering that I’m dealing with the loss of a loved one at this time. He’s gone and… there is so much that I have lost with his passing. So much that will be missing going forward.

What weakens my spirit?

The Tower – Knowing something will feel unmanageable, and thus can be chaotic. This feeling of helplessness creates a weakening of spirit for me.

What can I do to support my spirit?

Three of Cups – Be open with others instead of shutting down. A burden shared is a burden halved, and all that. Work on allowing others to uplift my spirits instead of wallowing in sadness is an important part of this process.

What can others do to support my spirit?

King of Wands – Letting others help me in getting done what needs done allows them to support my spirit and gives them a clear and easy path to helping me in getting through this time of loss.

What strengthens my spirit?

Queen of Pentacles – The need (and ability) to support others in a physical manner. To feed them, provide for them, and give them stability to grow from.

3 Steps to Healing Lenormand Reading

3 Steps to Healing Spread - The Paper Oracle

What obsolete behavior or belief is holding back my healing process?

Clover and Knife – The belief that optimism and luck are no match for negative inner narrative and self destructive tendencies.

Although you know this isn’t true, there are times when you fall back into that mindset. In fact, this mindset might be part of why you’re struggling to get back into your meditation practice.

What can I get dedicated and consistent about to support my healing process?

Lily and Hourglass – Commit to giving time to well established practices. You know what works.

Instead of making excuses and allowing yourself to skip these self care practices, commit time to them and make it a long standing routine instead of a short term fix or haphazard effort.

A source of hope and motivation to keep me going.

Sun and Book – Pay more attention to your successes instead of discounting them by saying you could have done better. It’s okay to feel good about your accomplishments instead of brushing them under the rug.

Dancing In the Dark Tarot, Jeremy Miranda Oracle Cards, Power Animals Oracle

EarthTemperance – Take time this week to slow down. It’s okay that you’re not getting everything done that you might have planned. Physically speaking, taking things slow is the best thing for you right now. There is also guidance here to take things slow getting your new card (to be picked up tomorrow) set up.

AirThe Star – Stay hopeful. Stay open to optimism. Do not allow negative self talk to drag you under and sour your emotions. Keep a cool head and take things at a slow pace.

WaterSix of Pentacles – Sometimes the small kindnesses you give others are in fact a warm and welcoming light in a cold night. For now, focus on providing that light, and taking sips of the comfort offered to you in turn.

FireSix of Swords – When your world begins to feel as if it is cracking and crumbling, make sure you are getting out in nature. It is through your time in the shadows of the wet woods that you find peace and restoration.

WaningThe Deer – Timidity and hesitation are not going to be helpful for you right now. Note how the deer walks with caution, how she paused often and is skittish in the extreme. These qualities have their place, but that place is not here in the week to come.

WaxingThe Kite – Spread your wings and seek to look outside yourself this week. Be open with others instead of closing yourself off and shutting people out.

Take Away – The cards for this week are providing me with advice on how to deal with and navigate my grief, while being supportive of others in my life that are also grieving.
