Confronting Past Lives & Mending the Soul Oracle Reading

Confronting Past Lives & Mending the Soul with the Dragons and Other Rare Creatures Oracle

Card to represent me in a relevant past life.

Banshee Drake – An unforgiving protector. A watcher that shouts out their warning for all to hear when trouble crests on the horizon, and whose “roar” is a harbinger of change’s arrival.

Something unresolved from that past life.

Sphinx – Not a wound or a sin, but a riddle yet to be solved.

How this past life is affecting me today.

Red Dragonfly – This past life taught you to pay closer attention to the small details in life. The riddle would have been solved if you had done so at the time, and the lesson from that has continued to echo down through time.

Why I need to complete this unresolved issue.

Flame Draconis – There is unrest in the spirit caused by this unresolved issue. Resolving it would give the spirit in you a sense of victory and allow it to let go of that “unfinished” feeling.

How I can complete this unresolved issue.

Steam Dragon atop Purple Book Drake – A great deal of exploration, experimentation, and hard work. Research will be needed, as well as stubborn determination. Digging into the past will be a must if you wish to resolve this issue.

Important lesson I must understand fully.

Goblin Daredevil – Practice makes perfect, both in this pursuit and in all things. Don’t give up if you don’t succeed at first. Each subsequent effort gives you more knowledge and experience.

An energy/characteristic from this past life that I should channel.

Cookie Crumbler atop Wolpertinger – Your urges, addictions, actions, and cravings are often driven by something deeper than what is seen on the surface. Explore where these things come from to find a connection with this particular past life.

Loving My Body Tarot Reading

Loving My Body Tarot Reading with the Maker's Tarot

How can I improve my relationship with my body?

Page of Swords Rx atop Eight of Swords – Stop ignoring and otherwise bypassing what you know that your body needs.

Why should I stop being at war with my body?

Four of Pentacles Rx atop Six of Pentacles Rx – Being stingy with your body (and thus neglecting your body’s needs) erodes at the strength of your foundation, making it more of a house built on sand than built on stone.

A commitment I can make to treasure my body?

Nine of Cups – Don’t focus so much on what you’re lacking, but rather on what you’re grateful for where your body is concerned. You have a lot to be grateful for and appreciate.

How can I show appreciation for my body?

Three of Swords – This is an echo of the answer to the previous question, which is to say that you need to make sure you are looking at the good and on what you can improve, instead of focusing on and judging harshly those things that cannot be changed and need to be moved on from. Holding onto harsh feelings about these issues only drags you down.

How can I cultivate a new way of loving my body?

King of Cups – Compassion and control are the keys to cultivating a new way of loving your body. Make sure you are being understanding of your limitations, while at the same time focusing on what you can improve and maintain without negative judgment. Don’t look at your body, it’s strengths and its limitations, through your eyes… look at them through his. What would Gid see and say?

Moving Forward Tarot Reading

Tarot Arte de Luna Rivas

Card to represent current state.

Ocho de Bastos – You are feeling like your momentum has been disrupted and that you have dropped the ball on things you wanted to get done. You worry about “falling behind” because of this, which you perceive as being even worse than stalling out for a time.

What I am moving towards.

Siete de Oros – Slow progress is coming. The realization that you have gotten more done than you realized will be upon you if you are open to seeing it. You aren’t stalling out or backsliding and losing ground… you’re just moving forward more slowly than you realize or are used to.

Lesson to be learned.

Cuatro de Copas – Pick and choose your battles. It’s okay for certain projects and things that need done to get set on the back burner so that you can train your attention on what is right before you. That doesn’t mean you’re abandoning those other projects, only that other concerns and priorities need to come first.

How the lesson will help me grow.

La Muerte – Slowly, as seen in the Siete de Oros above. This lesson is a study in slow and gradual change, and how it is okay to take things slow instead of rushing in and pushing yourself too hard.

How the lesson could hinder me.

As de Bastos – It will force you to “slow your roll” on new projects and inspirations. There’s only so much time in a day, only so many things you can take on at a time. Sometimes you have to accept that you just can’t do all the stuff you want to right away… or, in some cases, at all.

Final outcome.

El Carro – Determination will carry you through, no matter the speed you are moving at. Just keep moving.

Morning Bonus Read – Reconnect With Your Soul

Ink Stained Tarot - Reconnecting With Your Soul Tarot Reading

Card to describe my soul.

Nine of Cups – Satiated and comfortable.  Happy.  Content in a solitary state.  Not especially social and more than content to enjoy things on your own without a lot of friends or interaction with others.  Maybe a bit greedy about that happiness in that you don’t particularly want to share it with others at this time but instead enjoy it at your own pace on your own terms.

How I can quiet my thoughts.

Two of Swords – If you would be more decisive when things are bothering you instead of letting them niggle around in your head,  you would have far fewer thoughts running around in your head to pester you all the time.  There is a difference between pausing to get more information, and hesitating because you don’t want to make a decision.

How I can better trust my intuition.

Nine of Wands – Sometimes you stand in your own damned way and it’s not helpful in the least. This ties into the advice above.  You teach that intuition is the instant whisper that comes first, and thought comes after to mess it all up and create uncertainty.  Stop allowing time for thought to hop in and have a say.  Make the decision when the whisper comes and use thought to strategize instead of allowing it to cast doubt.

Why I should speak my truth.

Eight of Swords – It is only through truth both to ourselves and to others that our eyes can be opened to the world around us and we can move through life sure-footed.  There are too many illusions and obstacles to trip over when you are not honest with yourself and others. Life is hard enough without adding more struggles to the journey.

Something about myself I need to accept.

Strength – You are stronger than you think you are. It isn’t just your body that is strong and resilient, but your inner core as well. This strength shows in how others relate to you. You are not as inept at social graces as you feel that you are.

Something about myself I need to embrace.

Page of Cups – Your creative spark is always going to be there. Yes, the mundane business crap still has to be done, but don’t sink yourself so deep into that stuff that you lose the joy that comes with exploring your creativity and taking it in new directions.

How I can be the best version of myself.

The Hierophant – Share. Share yourself. Share your experiences. Help others see what it’s like to choose your own path and forge your own way. Encourage them to do the same. It is when you are helping others find their unique path that you feel the most centered and happy.

A message from the soul.

The World – Keep going.  Keep moving forward.  Keep striving to be better and do better. Life is a journey and it isn’t the end you need to put all your focus on. Instead, focus more on the steps along the path that gets you there.
