Daily Mental Health Prompt: Seek a positive message to carry with you throughout the day and offer perspective.
Today’s draw is the Two of Pentacles, which is traditionally a representation of juggling responsibilities, work/life balance, and prioritization.
The Two of Pentacles is then combined with an affirmation from the Pass Around the Smile Positive Guidance Cards for Kids, which says, “Believe in yourself. You can achieve whatever it is that you want, if you truly believe in yourself.”
Find your own sense of balance before diving into the rest.
When you believe in yourself, anything is possible. The key here is believing in yourself, though. It’s in believing that you can do the work and achieve the results of that work.
I feel like there’s too many people out there these days trying to “manifest” the results they want without being willing to put in the work to get there. That’s not how this works, though. You can’t just want something bad enough and it’ll fall in your lap.
That includes working on ourselves.

The message in today’s Two of Pentacles and affirmation card is a reminder that there’s more to manifestation than wishful thinking. If you truly want something, you have to act on it. Nothing worth having is going to fall into your lap without you putting in the actual work to get it.

Consider your alone time a tool used to help you recover from time with others, and prepare you for the next.
Instead of hiding or avoidance, use this time to constructively prepare yourself as well as recover from what came before.
This time shouldn’t make you feel guilty, but rather it’s a form of empowerment over your own needs. Those that love you will understand this.

Reading Summary: You’re so darned worried (Nine of Swords tipped right) that you’re going to lose what you have (Seven of Swords atop Four of Pentacles) that you’re not enjoying it to its fullest while you have it (The Fool).
Take Away: Work on taking more joy in the journey, rather than always either focusing on the negative or on the next goal.
Too often, you ignore the good stuff in order to plow forward and succeed more, build a stronger foundation, or shore up your resources. You do this so often that you forget to have fun and enjoy what you have in the here and now.
