with speckled fur
and amber eyes
a bright orange butt

permabooger nose
stole my heart
and took over
my life.

Hidden Potential

Scattered bricks
and broken stone
piled high
a scattered mess.
With hammer
and chisel
you will find
that the chaos
becomes beauty
and form.

This property has some of the most interesting and beautiful artisan created garden walls that I’ve ever seen.  The pile indicates that there are plans for much more yet to come, and I can only imagine the beauty of what will one day be finished.

beaten
battered
badly bruised
yet there is no
broken
to be heard
instead
the bruises
have their own beauty
and growth continues
along with
life’s journey
