soft and light

settles
and turns
the world
pristine
for a short breath
until life
moves on
once again
with the dawn
of a new day

to create
hiding spaces
as gilded clouds
slide by
and the city
shifts from
wakeful bustle
to a whisper
of quiet
on the wind
as lazy hours
of dusk
make nap time

is made of
