🌑 New Moon in Gemini – May 2022

Today is the new moon, and like all new moons and full moons, I did a spread aligned to the moon’s current themes as a part of my recognition of the moon’s cycle and influences upon us. Today’s spread is about the medicine within, and brought to you by Ethony‘s Tarot by the Moon series.

New Moon in Gemini Tarot Reading with The Zenned Out Journey Tarot

Where do I need to communicate clearly?

Page of Pentacles – Concerning those things that you want to accomplish, and the fact that you are learning as you go and don’t know everything.

Sometimes manifesting your dreams takes a bit of faith while you learn as you go, especially when that journey is slow going. You can still manifest what you seek, just make sure people know that you’re taking your time getting there. They’re used to seeing you rush.

What truth needs to be shared?

Five of Swords atop Nine of Wands Rx – That you’re still fighting with the depression. You’ve come so far in climbing out of the pit, and yet the fact that you are still lingering in a sense of dissatisfaction is a sign that you’re not all the way out yet. Don’t keep this to yourself, because those who care about you need to know.

What drama do I need to step away from?

The Fool – Sometimes you just have to let people make their own mistakes. Not everyone can learn from others… some people just need to learn their lessons for themselves.

Where do I need to focus instead?

Ace of Wands –  Focus instead on your own passions and inspiration. There’s plenty to keep you focused elsewhere if you open up and let your curiosity lead the way.

How can I put my inspiration into action?

Ten of Cups – Seek out the things that you know make you happy. You need to help your sense of emotional satiation find its roots.

New Moon advice from the Minoan Goddess Amalthea.

Queen of Cups – Sometimes your journey of emotional growth isn’t about pursuit, but rather about standing still and allowing the emotions to have the space to flow freely.

Shining Light Into the Darkness

Today’s meditation was skipped.

AlcheMystical TarotToday’s draw is the Moon card, which is traditionally a representation of uncertainty, illusion, fear of the unknown, anxiety, and the subconscious.

The brightness of this card is what draws my attention in the imagery for this deck.  It’s so very bright that there are no shadows.  Nowhere to hide.  Nothing that cannot be seen clearly, as if it were the sun hung in the sky instead of the moon.

This card’s message for today is to take the time to think through the things you are worried about, identify where you are stuck in a rut due to fear of the unknown, and shine a light on those things so that they will become less intimating and more manageable.

Five of Pentacles and Earth – Scarcity of love, support, and stability while growing up, perpetuated by those that should love you unconditionally.

What kind of people am I attracted to?

Nine of Swords and Caregiver – Those supportive of my mental health struggles. While I don’t need someone to hold my hand all the time, when I am struggling with a major depressive episode, I require people around me that are willing to be both patient and supportive.

What kind of people do I attract?

Ten of Cups and Holy One – You attract those that want to be a part of things. Those that respect your spiritual path and help in supporting your pursuit of personal happiness that includes them in the mix.

The Hanged Man and Eight of Fire – Remember that one perspective is never the only perspective. Don’t jump to conclusions too quickly.  Instead, take the time needed to consider multiple angles before acting.
