The question is… What do I need to focus for self-care through the week ahead?

EarthEight of Wands – Things that need to be done this week need to be done this week. Not next week, not “I’ll do it later”. Don’t allow yourself to procrastinate, or it could damage the stability you’re seeking to repair.

AirThe Chariot – Stay motivated and keep moving. No dawdling or stagnant moments.

WaterQueen of Pentacles – Support your emotions with the knowledge that you are moving towards greater stability. Which deep down? Is what you really want and need most for your emotional well-being.

FireTwo of Wands Rx – Now is not the time for planning. It’s the time for action and movement. Write down the things you want to get done in order to have a list of things to do later, and focus on the movement that needs to happen right now.

WaningAnchor and Clouds – Move away from lingering with your head in the clouds. Your emotions can often try to seek out what feels stable, but really only feels that way because it’s comfortable or familiar instead of healthy or helpful.

WaxingMan and Ship – Lean into your responsibilities to get things moving. You can’t get where you need to be without a bit of aggression and a lot of movement.

Take Away – Business is picking up a bit with the arrival of the holiday rush. Make sure you are staying on top of things to get the most out of this period. It might be slower than usual, but this week is not going to be so slow that you can screw around.

EarthNine of Pentacles – Celebrate your accomplishments. This is a time of harvest, and you should be paying attention to what you have brought in and how to preserve it through the winter months. Remember that this includes practices of gratitude and enjoying the fruits of your laborers.

AirSeven of Cups Rx – Don’t worry so much about making choices right now. Just go with the flow and observe. Sometimes the right answers will land in your lap if you just give them time to sort themselves out.

WaterThe Magician Rx – Remember that you don’t have to be in control all the time, and this is especially true with concern to your emotions. Sometimes they swirl in their own direction, and you’re just left to ride it out instead of trying to fix it.

FireNine of Swords – Mistakes are a part of the process when you’re learning something new. Make sure that you’re not being too hard on yourself or falling into “end of the world” thought patterns in these moments.

WaningFox and Fish – Don’t go along with it just because you think it’s clever. I’m not sure what this is in reference to at the moment, but it looks like some kind of “get rich quick” scheme that you need to avoid when it comes up. Keep your distance and don’t buy into the hype.

WaxingCross and Scythe – Take care this week to make choices that will cut down on your feelings of being burdened.

Take Away – This week is going to challenge your need for control, and if you take care with your actions, may help you in learning to let go and go with the flow more, instead of trying to steer everything with an iron grip.  Work on connecting with a mindset of gratitude and setting fears of scarcity aside will help with this.   Don’t go adding more to your plate right now. You have enough responsibilities and obligations to contend with at the moment.

EarthSeven of Swords – Take extra care to not be too naïve this week. Validate all information that comes your way rather than just believing it out of hand. This includes listening to those that you would normally trust with providing you with information. You need to ground all incoming info with solid fact. This added foundation is necessary for you this week.

AirThe Hierophant – Think first before you act as expected. Following the party line can be okay sometimes if it goes with your own goals and values. More often than not, though, being a sheep to expectations means sacrificing these things. Don’t sacrifice your values and goals just to be part of the herd.

WaterKnight of Pentacles – Make sure you are moving slow on your wants and desires this week or you may find yourself jumping the gun. Although not necessarily detrimental, it will definitely be awkward if you do.

FireFour of Wands – Take time to appreciate just how happy you are with what you have in your life at this time. Appreciate these moments in life when you can say that you’re truly happy with your lot.

WaningBouquet and Birds – Gossip is not your friend this week, no matter how lovely it may seem or what good news it may be trying to present you with. As mentioned in the Earth position of this reading, make sure you are validating anything and everything before getting excited or taking action.

WaxingFish and Tree – Focus on your physical health and making choices that bolster you physically. Give yourself the gift of abundance and good health.

Take Away –  Fill your pill box, and stay on top of those things that foster your mobility.  Take care to validate all news with facts, whether it’s good news or bad news. Think for yourself instead of allowing others to take the lead, and prioritize what’s important to you over the expectations that others may have for you.     And… take your time.  Don’t rush.

EarthSix of Pentacles – Make sure you are focusing on being generous this week. Generous to yourself. Generous to others as well. Give people the benefit of the doubt, and be kind to yourself.

AirTen of Wands – Ambition is a healthy thing until you get too far in and become overloaded. Make sure that your thoughts and actions, plans, and strategizing all allow you for time to rest. If you overwhelm yourself, it’s going to force you to rest anyway, so make sure that you give yourself the space to do it on your own before you’re forced into it at a more inconvenient time.

This also reflects back to the Ten of Wands in the Air position, in that if you are too much in your head, you will also quickly become overwhelmed. WaterAce of Cups – New emotions don’t have to be scary. They can also be an opportunity for growth, if you’re willing to sit with them for a bit.

FireAce of Wands – Make sure that you’re watching for those opportunities in chaos, instead of discarding them out of hand. There’s more there on offer than you might see at first glance.

WaningShip and Fox – Instead of trying to direct the boat, just go along for the ride. Nothing you do at this time is going to manipulate a better outcome or result.

WaxingClouds and Book – Don’t be lazy. If you don’t know something, do the research. It’ll be worth the dig.
