The question is… What do I need to focus for self-care through the week ahead?

EarthSeven of Swords – Take extra care to not be too naïve this week. Validate all information that comes your way rather than just believing it out of hand. This includes listening to those that you would normally trust with providing you with information. You need to ground all incoming info with solid fact. This added foundation is necessary for you this week.

AirThe Hierophant – Think first before you act as expected. Following the party line can be okay sometimes if it goes with your own goals and values. More often than not, though, being a sheep to expectations means sacrificing these things. Don’t sacrifice your values and goals just to be part of the herd.

WaterKnight of Pentacles – Make sure you are moving slow on your wants and desires this week or you may find yourself jumping the gun. Although not necessarily detrimental, it will definitely be awkward if you do.

FireFour of Wands – Take time to appreciate just how happy you are with what you have in your life at this time. Appreciate these moments in life when you can say that you’re truly happy with your lot.

WaningBouquet and Birds – Gossip is not your friend this week, no matter how lovely it may seem or what good news it may be trying to present you with. As mentioned in the Earth position of this reading, make sure you are validating anything and everything before getting excited or taking action.

WaxingFish and Tree – Focus on your physical health and making choices that bolster you physically. Give yourself the gift of abundance and good health.

Take Away –  Fill your pill box, and stay on top of those things that foster your mobility.  Take care to validate all news with facts, whether it’s good news or bad news. Think for yourself instead of allowing others to take the lead, and prioritize what’s important to you over the expectations that others may have for you.     And… take your time.  Don’t rush.

EarthSix of Pentacles – Make sure you are focusing on being generous this week. Generous to yourself. Generous to others as well. Give people the benefit of the doubt, and be kind to yourself.

AirTen of Wands – Ambition is a healthy thing until you get too far in and become overloaded. Make sure that your thoughts and actions, plans, and strategizing all allow you for time to rest. If you overwhelm yourself, it’s going to force you to rest anyway, so make sure that you give yourself the space to do it on your own before you’re forced into it at a more inconvenient time.

WaterAce of Swords – Don’t get so much in your head that it starts to screw with your emotions. This also reflects back to the Ten of Wands in the Air position, in that if you are too much in your head, you will also quickly become overwhelmed. New ideas are great, but give yourself a break by writing them down instead of jumping on them right away.

FireDeath – Changes are coming with your business yet again. You saw a preview of what might be to come just last night, which is giving you the heads up to prepare for what’s coming. Don’t ignore it. Instead face it head on.

WaningChild and Clover – The faith that everything is going to turn out great has its place, but right now what you need is empowerment, not faith. This week is not the time to just sit back and hope everything works itself out.

WaxingLady and House – Mind your heart at home this week and cherish the time you have there. Take this time to put things in order to suit you and your comfort zone.

Take Away – It sounds like you’re going to have some pretty great new ideas this week. Too many of them to act on all of them at once, definitely. So make sure you’re writing everything down to act on later, which will allow you to be kind to yourself by giving yourself more space and time.

That space is going to allow you room for changes, as well. Because when you get too many things going at the same time, your “wiggle room” diminishes and you’re less able to pivot when you need to.

AirQueen of Chaos – Often, other people see chaos while you see opportunity. Instead of keeping this perspective to yourself, help them see the opportunities as well.

WaterAce of Cups – New emotions don’t have to be scary. They can also be an opportunity for growth, if you’re willing to sit with them for a bit.

FireAce of Wands – Make sure that you’re watching for those opportunities in chaos, instead of discarding them out of hand. There’s more there on offer than you might see at first glance.

WaningShip and Fox – Instead of trying to direct the boat, just go along for the ride. Nothing you do at this time is going to manipulate a better outcome or result.

WaxingClouds and Book – Don’t be lazy. If you don’t know something, do the research. It’ll be worth the dig.

Take Away – Be proactive in showing others the opportunities that they are missing, as you go along for the ride this week.  Don’t try to push anything one way or another. There’s no need to be stubborn or to be in control this week. Instead, use this week to observe and have a little fun.

EarthKnight of Pentacles – Don’t forget to move slow. Just because things are moving again with your business doesn’t mean that they’re going to move fast. Don’t push, and let things move at their own pace. As long as you’re moving, all is well.

AirAce of Wands Rx – As mentioned the other day in a different reading you did, too many good ideas at the same time as a bad idea. Make sure that you prioritize well and write down what you decide to put on the back burner so that you can return to them later.

WaterTwo of Swords – Sometimes the emotions that you feel are a choice rather than out of your control. Maybe it’s time to examine which are which, so that you can get a better handle on those that you’re choosing, opposed to those you aren’t.  There’s a potential for a bit of control here, if you’re willing to look closely.

FirePage of Swords – Take care to stay on top of those things that help your ambitions move forward, just make sure you’re not going overboard. Remember that you’re still in the learning stages at the moment.

EarthQueen of Pentacles atop Page of Pentacles Rx – Remember that you’re not so much the novice as you feel that you are in this moment. It may feel like you’re starting over, but you have a lot of knowledge under your belt that you wouldn’t have if you were starting from scratch.

AirWheel of Fortune – Try to keep in mind that the ups and down of fate have nothing to do with you or your performance. Sometimes it’s just how things fall into place, and other times it’s creating a step forward that you need in order to make a different step later. This means that when shit goes awry, it’s not always your fault, nor has anything to do with you other than you are along for the ride.

WaterThe Devil – You’re emotions may drive you towards temptations and bad habits this week. Make sure that you’re keeping an eye on things so that you don’t fall into bad habits that could be harmful and cause problems later down the line.

EarthFive of Cups Rx – Don’t despair. You need to find a way out of the doom and gloom that you’ve been feeling. Although you’ve been fighting against it valiantly, it’s not quite hard enough. You’re not doing all of the stuff that you could be doing to “turn that frown upside down” and look at things in a more positive light. This is causing you to sink deeper into the dark that you really don’t want to spend time in. Your stability and sense of security is at risk if you don’t get a handle on this.

Stop retreating into yourself and hiding away, and connect with them instead. Communication is key, so reach out to those that you know are invested. You won’t drag them down. If you are allowing it to be harmful or it’s hurting you in some unhealthy way, then it’s no longer an activity you should be indulging in. Don’t just accept blindly that something is good for you, but look a little closer and make sure.

WaningMan and Heart – Remember that it’s okay to be small when you need to, and he’ll adore it just as much as when you’re in your top space.

WaxingSun and Mice – Start looking more closely at the activities in your day. There is something corrosive going on, stealing at your happiness.  It’s time to start trying to suss out what these small poisonous bits are that are poisoning the well.

Take Away – Let go of the “I should” of top space and bottom space. It doesn’t matter.

Spending time with others can help in improving your mood and giving you a little boost, as can giving yourself a pat on the back for those things you’ve accomplished thus far in your life.

Make sure you look a little closer at the things you do and how you are feeling, checking in will help you find what’s not helping, as well as what is.
