The question is… What do I need to focus for self-care through the week ahead?

EarthEight of Wands and Holly – Take a look this week and what needs your attention, and make sure that you’re hopping on those things right away. Doing so will protect you from the fallout that procrastination would encourage.

AirEight of Cups and Water Lily – You are finally out of the pit, having climbed long and hard to get there. Make sure that you stay open so that the energy can flow through you and wash away the complacency, so the clarity and purpose can come forth and its place.

WaterPage of Cups and Bat Flower – Open yourself up and allow people to see what you want. They might think you’re nuts, but sometimes insanity can be brilliant, and sharing your desires with others will help make it happen.

FireTemperance and Strawberry – Don’t push in too many areas at once. Take your time this week to allow for some space for luck to step in and pave the road ahead of you.

WaningDog and Scythe – You’ve spent a long time allowing the self-flagellation have its way with you and cling to you too tightly.  It’s time to shed this hanger-on and let it go.

EarthAce of Cups and The Sentinel – Stand strong against unhealthy spending that is spurred on by your emotions. There’s a time and a place for this type of thing, and this week is not the time to indulge in such behavior.

AirFour of Cups and Inspiring Visitation – Make sure you are taking care to not let yourself wallow in complacency this week. Be inspired instead and discover just how much it lifts you up to get a few things done.

WaterJustice and Elixir Thief – Actions have consequences, and what you do has an effect on you. But, make sure that as you work at moving out of the feelings of dawdling complacency and into action that you don’t go overboard.

FireThe High Priestess and Visitor’s Warning – Listen to your gut, even if what it says sounds unreasonable or illogical. There are entities whispering in your ear that know far more about what’s coming and what to do about it than you do.

WaningMountain and Woman – Stop allowing emotions to isolate you from others. You don’t have to hold yourself so far apart, and doing so is not helping your moods.  You may not -feel- like hanging out, but doing so has a positive influence on your moods and emotions, so do it anyway.

EarthThe Magician Rx atop Page of Cups – Don’t worry so much this week about what you can do, but focus instead on what you want to explore. Success and goal achievement are not everything.

AirThe Emperor – Seize control of your inner narratives and keep them in line like minions under your leadership. You do not have to be a victim to their influence.

WaterPage of Pentacles – It’s okay for things to feel new and different. It’s okay to have to relearn old lessons. Take your time to really explore those lessons you’ve needed to return to.

FireThe Moon – Don’t let uncertainties and shifting shadows trip you up, or cause you to freeze and stagnate this week.

The Dreaming Way Tarot, Cat Herbal Deck, and The Dreaming Way Lenormand

EarthTen of Cups and Cleavers (Galium aparine) – take some time to really appreciate what you have and where you are this week. Enjoy those around you with a sense of gratitude, seek peace and quiet to help further is anxieties in the areas of your finances, resources, and stability. Much of your anxiety is fueled by your perception, so focus that perception towards the good that you have and foster emotional peace in this area.

AirAce of Wands and Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) – Combat your negative inner narrative by taking a look at just how good you are at putting into motion your ideas. Give yourself some credit and allow that to be a balm for the wounds that your inner narrative has created over the past few months.

WaterKnight of Wands and Hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis) – Turn around and face forward.

Make sure you are looking ahead as you move into the coming week. There’s no point ruminating on the past and rehashing over the mistakes you might’ve made. This only creates negative space for pessimism to grow. Instead, look forward toward feelings of hope and what you hope to achieve. Allow that hope to lift you up emotionally. This is a conscious choice for you to make and is completely within your control.

WaxingLady and Coffin – Pay attention to changes that might be indicating that you’re moving back deeper into the pit of depression.   You have a chance to change the potential backsliding, but it’s going to require self awareness.

Take Away – This week is all about working on clearing the lip of the depression’s pit, and what’s needed to make sure that even should I not clear the lip, no backsliding happens.
