The question is… What do I need to focus for self-care through the week ahead?

EarthQueen of Cups atop The Lovers Rx – Foster stability in your life by keeping your guard up when it comes to “the slut”. Make sure that there are no misunderstandings between you and your partner concerning just how bad an idea her proposal is. This is not a cursory discussion. Make sure you discuss it in depth so that he’s able to fully air his feelings on the matter as well.

AirThe Magician – Communication is your tool of the week. Make sure when you communicate with others that you do so in a clear manner. Although Mercury ☿️ going into retrograde doesn’t usually affect you personally, keep in mind the effect it has on others.

WaterKnight of Coins – When a call to action comes in? Consider slowing down instead of speeding up to dive in head first. Sometimes the act of doing nothing is doing something. Don’t discount willful inaction, for it is just as intentional an act as willful omission.

FireFive of Coins – Keep an eye on where your money is going this week. More mindfulness in this area now could stave off a moment of scarcity sneaking up to surprise you later.

WaningClouds and Garden – Don’t allow social uncertainties to eat at you this week. The fact others are out of sorts has nothing to do with you personally, so don’t take that weight on your shoulders just because things are feeling uncertain at the moment.

WaxingShip and Whip – This week’s path is going to be rocky. Focus on getting through it and save fixing things for later.

Take Away – Lean into choosing to do nothing instead of trying to jump in and fix things or resolve problems.  Cool your heels and wait. EarthThe Empress – You take care of everyone else, but who takes care of you? You are no longer “maiden fresh” with energy that abounds, and you should not be putting out more than you are receiving. Abundance, like everything else, is a balance of give and take. Consider taking more this week in order to foster a better balance.

AirTwo of Combustion (Wands) – Continue with getting your ducks in a row this week. Make plans, but with the caveat that they might be for naught if something unforeseen enters the picture. Rough drafts are great, just don’t carve them into stone.

EarthThree of Cups – Make sure you are not isolating yourself this week. At this time, there is greater stability to be found in the company of others than on your own, even if it might not feel that way at the time.

AirQueen of Cups – Seek out comfort where you can find it, and most especially with those you know can provide it. It’s okay to need others to help you in your inner struggles. They want to be there for you and will welcome you with open arms.

WaterThe Empress – Care and understanding are needed right now, especially directed toward yourself and those delicate vulnerable parts. Be gentle with yourself and your emotions this week.

FireThe Magician Rx – You’re going to be feeling “all thumbs” this week, and like you just can’t get anything right. Remember the guidance the other positions in this reading have given. Cut yourself a break and lean on others. Remember that this experience is temporary.

Six of Cups atop The Hanged Man – What are you really getting hung up on? You’re currently in a holding pattern. Stuck and trying to determine which lessons from the past ring true, and which can be set aside. This means there’s a lot of time spent reflecting upon the past and how you feel about the things that went on back then. There is advice here to let those thoughts and emotions come and observe them, rather than trying to hide from them or ignore their existence.

The Slough – What is to be left in the past as you move forward.

EarthTwo of Cups – Finances, good health, and stability in life is not something that is yours alone to deal with. It’s a team effort between those who share the same values and resources as you, and have committed to making things work with you. Don’t take all of it on your shoulders alone.

AirThe Chariot – Be proactive in your mental health, as well as in areas that need a bit of strategizing to go how you want them to. Now is the time to show your intent and steer things in the right direction. Make plans, strategize, and take hold of the reigns. Take note, though… this is not a solo job.   In the Chariot, one person holds the reigns to steer while others pull.  Take the Earth’s advice above to heart.

WaterPage of Swords Rx – Not all emotions can be reasoned with. It sucks, but it’s true. EarthStudent of Knives – Don’t shoot your self in the foot. A bit of caution is needed right now. Take care when speaking up and communicating with others that you don’t put your foot in your mouth, especially in relation to things you know nothing about or are not fully informed on. It won’t just cause embarrassment, but could create destabilization of the status quo as well.

AirThe Sun – Work on keeping both your internal and external narratives positive. You may have a stronger tendency to slip into negative thoughts this week, which can then easily bleed outward into your communication with others.
