Affirmation Prompt for April 4th: I Create…
Five of Cups – I create my own opportunity for improvement.
Pessimistic thinking is a habit in your life that has been deeply ingrained. Seeing and anticipating the worst comes naturally for so long now that it’s all you remember, and it’s only through awareness and effort that another healthier perspective can take root.
The more you work to instill positivity and optimism into your life, the more it will take root. But, like throwing a snowball at a wall, with each effort, only a tiny bit will stick. You have to keep trying in order to get enough to stick that it begins making a true difference in the wall’s topography.

Question for April 4th and 5th
What should I surrender to for personal growth?
Queen of Swords atop Four of Wands – It’s time to consider letting your personal “Queen of Swords” back into your inner circle instead of continuing to freeze her out.
Gideon has been mentioning this for a while but you have been very resistant. Lately you’ve been taking the first steps through going out to dinner and and allowing some surface contact. Keep going in this direction. It’s time to resolve these issues and welcome her back “home”.
What patterns or attachments do I need to try and release during this retrograde?
Page of Wands and Ace of Wands – Make sure that you are not falling into old habits of letting yourself become so distracted by new ideas and passions to the point that you sight of everything else around you. Enthusiasm and new passions are good… In fact, they’re great. But, you don’t want them to become so much of a distraction that you fall behind on everything else that’s on your plate.

Another nap on an orders day. Always a kindness that I don’t really feel I deserve but is sometimes needed.

Today’s meditation was ten minutes long, and one of the #DailyCalm sessions from the calm app. The session was about the importance of levity in life, and shared an experience that the guide in the session had once had where they worked in a restaurant. “Remember! We’re just serving food here, we’re not the United Nations,” said the waitress.
