Little bunny
in the sky
looking down
on green fields
as clouds pass
on by
what do you think
of what you see

come down to frolic
in the green sea?
or is the view better
from above
where you can see
all your bretheren
hop along?

Sparks of pain
flicker along senses
and speak
of infammation
out of control
as eyes open
to a new day
and breath
is caught
then let out slow
as senses flare
red hot
and determination
alone
spurs movement
in a search
for relief
Frazzled
No comb
can untangle
the frantic mess
of the mind
when time presses
in close
and steals
the breath
as deadlines near
while hair
that would do
a mad scientist
proud
is an echo
of the thoughts
flitting about
beneath
Savor the Moment
Evening light
spills over
sand covered toes
and warms
the skin
as frigid water
laps lightly
mere inches
from where
you sit
lets lie back
for just a moment
and breathe in
the freedom
of this moment

Heavy clouds
hang low
as pleasure craft
are docked
to bob
unsteadily
upon frigid waters
filled with
anticipation
while they wait
for the
coming storm
with baited breath
and
dramamine
