Whether
too many
horror flicks
or just some
internal instinct
there’s something
about cornfields
that is creepy
and weird
disorienting
and terrifying
all at the same time
once the corn
has reached
great heights
poetry
Gideon’s Challenge – Scorch Marks
Gideon’s Challenge – Summer Skies
Gideon’s Challenge – Anxiety Attack
Gideon’s Challenge – Shallow Moments
Gideon’s Challenge – Margit
Again and again
scenes are
murmured
in my ear
of cruelty
via selfishness
in one
given so many
opportunities
to learn
to change
and I have never
been so happy
to listen
as she dies
in the end…
Although I really think she should’ve been eaten by the zombies.
Slowly.
