Curve Balls and Challenges

changeofpace02I… am dealing with a curve ball.

A mini-hiatus is necessary as a result.

There won’t be a catch-up this time. Instead, I’ll just start posting again once I am capable.

I hope you are all doing well, and I’ll be back to posting as soon as I can!

For my clients… readings are still open, but my turn-around time on them is slightly increased. If you can hold off until April, I’d appreciate it. If you can’t? That’s okay too, just know it’ll take me a little longer than the norm to get your readings sent to you. ❤️

Gideon’s Challenge

Fields and CloudsHow?

I struggle with jealousy
and you sail through
I struggle with
possessiveness
and you sail through
I struggle ever onward
in a war within myself
and yet you
as always
sail through
making it look easy
to be mine
and share with yourself
when I
always struggle
to do so

Winter BloomsWinter Blooms

Winter blooms
bleached of color
hide in plain sight
among the rocks
and soil
as they wait
for summer sun
that will breathe life
and color
back into the world
and shower
flower petals
with kisses
until they blush

Sword FernRefreshed Moments

Sweet green
comes in fresh
with the melting
of snow and slush
as life renews
with promises
of more sunshine
and damp ground
and springtime walks
with clasped hands
and time spent
on the mossy ground
staring up
at the pictures
in the clouds

Wetland EddiesThe Tides

Each day slips
in and out
like tides
breathing life
into eddies
picked over
by seagulls
and each day
that passes
leaves us
picking over
the remnants
again and again
seeking the good
tasty bits
and leaving the rest
behind

Mossy BranchesSpring is Coming

A moment’s pause
to breathe in deep
of fresh moist air
cool and sweet
scented of pine
and cedar boughs
as the quiet
soaks in
winter’s end
slips into spring
and impatience comes
to see everything
from fuzzy moss
to winter red tips
and brand new buds
and little green bits
